Big Ten Championship!

It all comes down to Saturday, 3:30 kickoff. For what some have rumored to be JoePa's last game at Beaver Stadium? We'll see.

But we are ending the season in style. With a Surf & Turf affair. Everyone is to bring their own cut of meat, weather it be steak, burgers, fish, chicken. We'll have the grill for you to prepare your cut on. Bring a side dish if you want to share. Bri and I are bringing a Baked Potato Bar.

Forecast now says Partly Cloudy, high of 34-brrr!

PSU vs Indiana

OK- we are all bummed about last Saturday, but we have to try to get back on the horse and cheer on the team we love to get them to the Rose Bowl!

Saturday is a noon kick off and the theme is Mexican Fiesta. Again no pressure to adhere to the theme, just a fun thing we do.

The forecast for Saturday is chance of rain and high of 51-not too bad for mid-November!

Also I will be collecting canned and dried goods during this tailgate as the Venture Club (the chariatable organization that Kimie, Laura & I are part of) will be putting together Thanksgiving baskets at our Nov 19th meeting for families in the area. Please look through your cupboards and see if you have anything you can bring-treats for those who do!! :)

Only two more games :(...let's live it up! See you at Lot 24!

PS. Michigan State is a 3:30 kickoff (just saw it posted on PSU athletic site).

Home Opener vs. Coastal Carolina

Our tailgates seem to get better and better every year! So share the blog with your friends and family and have them join in on the fun!

For the first tailgate the theme is "Tasty Tidbits" (thanks for the idea Pam)

Tasty Tidbits is a selection of your best appetizer recipes. That way you can eat a varierty of tasty treats. We've got some great cooks in our group. Add some simple burgers and dogs and you've got the first 2008 tailGREAT.

If you are new to our tailgate, we post this blog so folks know what will be served and what you can bring. Do not feel obligated to adhere to the theme, it is just something we do for fun :)!

Usually everyone brings there own drinks although there is never a short supply of tasty beverages :)! We always have a grill or two on hand for your use.

For those interested here are the upcoming themes :

Sept 6th (Oregon- 3:30pm) Carnival theme (yummy carnival foods complete with fun & games for the kiddies)

Blue & White Game

Are you ready for some Spring Football?!!

The PennState TailGREAT will be in full swing for Blue & White weekend. We will be in our usual spot (directions to the right if ya need them). We are making it simple for this tailgate and just doing burgers & dogs. So please bring your favorite cookout dish.

Also, I am seeking any pictures or video you have of previous PSU tailgates/games/parties, etc. So either email them to me or bring me a copy to the Blue & White game for a little project I am working on.

The game is at 2pm and it is a free event. Can't wait to catch up with you all.
